At the event, Jinji Mining LLC signed a memorandum of understanding to exchange experiences and cooperate with Environmental & Geotechnical LTD, a Canadian company that provides mine closure rehabilitation services, Flash Forest LLC, an automated tree planting process using drones and seed balls, and the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, a risk assessment consulting service.

Jinjii Mining LLC is an experienced company that, under the Mongolian Government’s “Restoration of Damaged Land” action plan, commissioned by the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries, and funded by the “Erdenet Mining” SOE, completed technical rehabilitation of 800.7 hectares in the Kharganat mouth and the mouth of the Mogoin River in Yeroo soum, Selenge aimag, in 2023, and 777.6 hectares in the mouth of the Narin River in 2024, and handed them over to the local community.

Within the framework of this memorandum, Jinjii Mining LLC is taking subsoil restoration and reforestation in Mongolia to a new level and implementing internationally recognized standards.
